The Edu-Connect Southeast Asia Association of Kaohsiung, Taiwan visited Tarlac State University on February 7 with a program held at the Bulwagang Kanlahi, Diwa ng Tarlac in Tarlac City.
The visit is aimed to build a stronger academic network between the 15 universities, two from the private sector, two Christian universities of Taiwan and Tarlac State University along with the Province of Tarlac.
A product exhibit of the Tarlac Province Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) was also stationed in the venue for the Taiwanese friends.
The Edu-Connect is a civic non-profit organization initiated by Taiwan-Philippine academic communities from UP System, Southern Taiwan Universities and Kindness Hotel Chain which started since 2015 and funded in 2017.
